Award Recognition Restructure Announcement
To properly recognize and motivate young people, it is imperative that Award Holders can attend a timely ceremony with their families and peers for each level of the Award achieved. Effective July 2022, Award Canada has restructured its Award Recognition. Below is a summary; please click here for the full announcement.
Bronze Recognition:
- Bronze Level Ceremonies will continue to be organized by the Award Centre.
Silver Recognition:
- Award – Canada will host two annual Silver Award Holder Events. These events will be open to Silver Award Achievers from the previous 12 months as well as active Award Leaders.
- Silver Level Ceremonies will now be organized by the Award Centre.
Gold Recognition:
- There will be 5-10 Gold Ceremonies organized by Award – Canada each year.
- They will be presided by the Governor General (TBC), Lieutenant Governors or Territorial Commissioners.
- Each ceremony will be open to anyone on the Gold Ceremony Waiting List.
